School Library

Your children will be able to take home a book from the library.  Most of the books are brand new and we will know to whom each book is allocated using our new Library management system.

The children will be able to access this system to look at all the books that we have. When they click on the book, they will get a blurb and see if it’s available. Using the compass icon at the bottom they will also see its location within the library.

The children can write reviews of books if they choose and also see the most popular books in the school. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to reserve books.

To log on from home use this link

They then log on using their barcode number and their date of birth in numbers eg 31012018.

Their barcode number will be stuck in the back of their reading record book.

Books should be looked after and returned within two weeks to be renewed or returned. If books are not returned the system will create automatic reminder letters which will be sent to you. If the book has not been returned by the fourth letter, then you will be asked to pay a contribution to replace the book. As with all our reading scheme books, a contribution will also be asked if the book is damaged and unreadable.

We are fortunate to have such a lovely library and welcome contributions of new books. If you dedicate a book, we will add a bookplate to it showing our thanks.

We are truly grateful to F.R.O.T.H. who have support us in creating our library.
